Final 2023 figures from Morris’ home UK industry body, the SMMT, show a continuing strong shift to electric vans with December registrations up 73% on December 2022 and annual registrations up 21%, despite the mid-year relaxation of the 100% BEV target moving from 2030 to 2035.

This transition was in a market where the overall registrations in the CV sector were also up 21% in 2023. So, once again the Morris JE’s mid-weight sector achieved the largest growth at 78%, vindicating our market positioning, where we deliver our class leading 1,000 kg payload, through use of our innovative lightweight materials.
