Morris Commercial Steals the Show at Norfolk Camper & Motorhome Event
A Weekend of Colour and Creativity
From the 17th to the 20th of July, Morris Commercial proudly attended the Norfolk Camper & Motorhome Show at Norfolk Showground – an event hosted by Warners Shows. Amid rows of conventional, monochrome vehicles, it was the vibrant salmon-pink Morris JE2 and its playful companion, The Morris Junior, that truly captured the spotlight.
The JE2: More Than a Van
The JE2 wasn’t just another vehicle on display – it was fitted with a bespoke, lightweight modular system and transformed into a one-of-a-kind campervan by designer and TV presenter Max McMurdo, founder of Outlandish Campers. His innovative conversion highlighted the incredible versatility of the Morris JE, proving that it can seamlessly switch roles: a sustainable, zero-emission commercial vehicle during the week, and a cosy, stylish camper at the weekend.
Crowds were quick to fall in love with the concept. Visitors described the JE2 as “joyous,” “gorgeous,” and “utterly unique.” Its retro-inspired design, bold colour, and playful charm ensured it turned heads throughout the event – whether under bright summer skies or during the inevitable bursts of British drizzle.
Engaging with the Community
Across the weekend, John and Grace from the Morris Commercial team were on hand to share the story behind the JE, answer questions, and demonstrate how vintage character can blend effortlessly with modern electric technology. We also teamed up with Peter Vaughan, well known for his campervan reviews and features, to capture engaging content that will soon be shared across his channels – offering even more people the chance to discover the JE.

The Norfolk Camper & Motorhome Show was the perfect stage to connect with a passionate community and demonstrate the versatility of the JE. More than just a commercial van, the JE has the potential to redefine what it means to hit the road in style – practical, sustainable, and always eye-catching.
