Introducing the Morris JE Camper Conversion at Fully Charged LIVE London

From the 16th to 18th April, Morris Commercial proudly unveiled the camper conversion of our JE2 prototype, designed in collaboration with Max McMurdo, at the Fully Charged Everything Electric Show at ExCeL London.

This event marked the first public showcase of the innovative camper insert, a unique and sustainable reinterpretation of off-grid living, integrated inside the all-electric Morris JE. Over the course of three days, the installation attracted large crowds, sparking curiosity, excitement, and admiration for its seamless combination of functionality, retro charm, and forward-thinking design.

As the UK’s premier event for electric vehicles and clean energy, Fully Charged LIVE provided the ideal platform for our debut. It was a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with members of the Fully Charged team, including Jack Scarlett, Imogen Bhogal, and Robert Llewellyn, who were all keen to experience how Morris Commercial is breathing new life into an icon while embracing sustainable innovation.

We were also delighted to welcome several high-profile visitors to our stand. Quentin Willson, leading EV advocate and founder of FairCharge, as well as Edmund King OBE, President of the AA, both praised the JE’s distinctive design and the unique appeal of the camper conversion. Their positive feedback highlighted the growing recognition of the Morris JE as a vehicle that redefines electric mobility, blending heritage-inspired design with a sustainable future.

Events like Fully Charged LIVE allow us to showcase not only the practicality of the Morris JE but also its potential as a lifestyle vehicle, capable of inspiring new ways to live, travel, and explore sustainably.
