Production: Built in Britain – The Morris JE Journey
The all-new, all-electric Morris JE is proudly designed, engineered, and built in Britain, reflecting Morris Commercial’s commitment to craftsmanship, sustainability, and heritage. From our headquarters in Evesham, Worcestershire, a skilled UK-based team has guided the JE through every stage of its development—from initial design sketches and concept work to prototyping, engineering, testing, and certification. Every element of the Morris JE has been created in the UK, ensuring that this iconic electric van remains true to its roots while embracing the future of clean mobility.

As we move into the final phase of development, we can confirm that all Morris JE vehicles will be manufactured on British soil. This commitment not only supports UK industry but also strengthens local supply chains and highlights the best of homegrown innovation. Full details of the factory will be released closer to launch, but one thing is certain: the Morris JE stands as a proud symbol of British-built electric vehicles.

At Morris Commercial, quality comes before quantity. Every JE will be built with meticulous attention to detail, offering customers a highly crafted, customisable electric van that combines classic styling with cutting-edge technology. Production will begin on a limited scale to ensure the highest standards are met, followed by a carefully managed ramp-up 12 months later. Our target is to produce more than 1,000 vehicles annually, scaling sustainably to meet demand while preserving exclusivity and craftsmanship.
With production scheduled to commence in mid-2026, following the conclusion of certification, the Morris JE represents a landmark moment for both our company and the wider UK EV sector. More than a zero-emission van, it is a bold statement of British design, innovation, and sustainability that redefines what a commercial vehicle can be.
