On October 13th & 14th, Morris Commercial had the privilege of featuring at the NSBRC Show, in Swindon, a gathering of over 1,500 individuals with architectural plans and dreams of self-building and renovation. At the UK’s only permanent venue for independent homebuilding advice & support, our Morris JE van took centre stage, captivating visitors and offering an unexpected diversion from heat pumps, bricks, and guttering.
Sustainability in the Spotlight
The NSBRC Show buzzed with enthusiasm as attendees engaged with suppliers from the self-build and renovation industry. Amid this creative tapestry, our sustainability story and commitment to a greener future made the Morris JE van a particularly magnetic draw. The use of recycled carbon fibre in our bodywork not only reduced our footprint but results in a remarkably light and agile van, offering practical versatility.
Thanks to its 80 kWh battery the Morris JE van boasts an impressive 250-mile electric range. It’s a testament to our dedication to sustainable mobility. With a payload capacity of 1,000 kg and room for two Euro pallets, plus an 8′ x 4′ sheet, it’s ready to tackle any building or renovation task without sacrificing efficiency or the environment.
Once again, the mini but mighty Morris Junior was a big hit with the kids. With its freshly applied cream side panel detailing it was at its most eye-catching!
Unveiling the Future
Visitors marvelled at the innovation, style, and functionality of the Morris JE van. More than a vehicle; it’s a statement about what’s possible in the world of electric mobility. The NSBRC Show allowed us to showcase the intersection of visionary design and ecological responsibility. We were thrilled to see so many like-minded individuals embracing the potential of the Morris JE. Interest came from prospective business users and potential personal use customers.
